During my undergraduate experience, I have contributed to multiple semester-long research projects in different fields and classes. Below is my three favorite and most substantial projects, with the assignment prompt and report produced. All three projects were group assignments in which I scored an A+ for my individual contributions and overall group outcome.
NFL Draft Project – Business Decisions in Sports Management (A+)
For this assignment, my team was assigned the Chicago Bears and had to determine who to select with the first overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft. I was personally responsible for the predictive player performance model. For this, I underwent three different analyses. First, I collected a large dataset including college and professional stats and variables for every first-round drafted quarterback dating back to 1994. From this, I eliminated outliers and ran dozens of linear regressions to eventually generate a model mapping the most significant college variables to predict passer rating. These coefficients were used to calculate a prediction for professional passer rating for the top 5 quarterback prospects available. Additionally, the entire dataset was clustered based on collegiate statistics to generate a set of “professional comparisons” for each of the five quarterback prospects. Finally, I performed a logistic regression comparing college statistics to a boolean variable representing if a quarterback was a “bust” to determine the percentage safety of each prospect. The final report generated by my team and I is here:
Final Research Project – Sports Economics (A+)
For this assignment, my partner and I had to write two separate but related research papers broadly revolving around sports. I utilized my connections as manager of the basketball team and found a way to connect the assignment to a real-world use-case that helped the team. The team had been recording certain non-box score metrics that they believed impacted the final score of games. While the dataset was limited, my section of the paper found that the chosen metrics had a 90%/71% R-Squared and adjusted R-Squared value, which grew to 99%/92% with the incorporation of dummy variables to control for home games and high-pressure games. While the F-Statistic was low as predicted, our group findings justified further collection of the metrics and demonstrated strong correlation with game outcome predictions. The final report generated by my partner and I, as well as my individual grade rubric, is below.

Export Plan – Globalization & Marketing (A+)
For this assignment, my team was tasked with introducing a new tangible product to a country in sub-saharan Africa. We chose the country of Tanzania, and after analyzing the culture and economic status of the country, we decided to introduce a simplified version of an Air Fryer to the country. After that, we investigated the market for our good within the capital city of Dar es Salaam, evaluating our competition, modifying our product to meet the needs of our target market, and coming up with estimates for sales and revenue. We also created promotional materials based on what we learned about the culture and values of the country. While every member was involved throughout the process, I took the lead on the market audit, including the market size, revenue, and pricing calculations. I also designed the promotional materials, product and packaging modifications, and recipe pamphlet as seen in the appendices. Our final group report is below:
